The Lift Welcomes Director Ian Pons Jewell
London native sets sights on Mexico City
The Lift has recently signed director Ian Pons Jewell, so let’s make some introductions here! You might recall Ian’s viral and amazing music videos for Paolo Nutini, Odesza, Naughty Boy ft. Sam Smith, DJ Shadow, Cloud Control, and countless others, or perhaps his commercials for Adidas, Firetrap, and Lebara. It’s this same work that has earned him top honors at the MOBO Awards, UK Music Video Awards, London Independent Film Festival, and nominations at the Maverick Movie Awards and YouTube Music Awards.
Ian’s creative approach to narrative storytelling is a testament to the work that has earned him hundreds of millions of views on YouTube. Hailing from London originally, The Lift wooed Ian not only to the roster but also to its home – he’s planning a move to Mexico City later this year.
