W+K Tokyo Launches Three New TYPE Glasses Modelled After Fonts

As the choice of typeface affects expression in written communication, subtle design differences in eyeglass frames change the impression of the person who wears them. 

Glasses brand, TYPE, was inspired by the similarities between the function and design of typefaces and glasses. Each pair, developed by W+K Tokyo, is handcrafted in Sabae city, known as the home of Japanese eyewear craftsmanship. All three models are available in a choice of black, tortoise or clear; as glasses or sunglasses.

To celebrate the launch of the new models, W+K Tokyo will have an All-Font pop-up shop at 1LDK AOYAMA HOTEL from today until the 13th.
