'The Story Of PAG'

 

Our story could only have been written in Hollywood. It was 2007, the Great Recession. Two Advertising Technology Execs found themselves at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles facing an uncertain future after their company was sold to a competitor.  Join the acquiring company or start a company of our own? Thus began the proverbial great idea written on a cocktail napkin – in our case it was a late night game of ping pong rallying ideas back and forth.
 
What kind of business would we create? What were our strengths? What value could we bring? We knew Advertisers were  well-versed in the areas of Creative, Media and Production: hire a creative ad agency, develop a concept, go on location, shoot the ad and marry it up with your media plan.
 
But what about all the things that have to happen between wrapping the shoot and seeing the ads appear all over the world? That process is called Post-Production – an area so unsung it’s referred to as “Miscellaneous” in Ad Production budgets.
 
So we created a consultancy of Miscellaneous experts who can turn question marks into dollar signs. Post-Production  is increasingly complex. Local supply chains have become global supply chains. Today the largest advertisers across the world use PostAds Group to implement new best practices and technologies so the money saved in Post-Production – can be reinvested for more Creative & Media.  And in today’s global Economy, ‘tightening one’s belt’ is no longer a luxury – but a necessity.
