The Mill New York Appoints Its First Chief Creative Officer
The Mill New York is delighted to announce Angus Kneale has been named its first Chief Creative Officer to support the creative growth and increasing breadth of work at The Mill. Angus has, in turn, bolstered Mill NY’s award-winning creative team by promoting Ben Smith and Rama Allen to Executive Creative Directors.
As Chief Creative Officer, Angus will set the creative vision for the NY studio and continue to collaborate with clients that know The Mill for its expertise and passion for complex and ground-breaking work.
Angus was one of the founders of The Mill’s first US studio in New York, helping establish its unique reputation for uncompromising creative excellence.

Mill NY’s clients and partners will continue to be supported by Ben and Rama as they take the mantel of ECDs. Working closely alongside Angus, they will push The Mill’s creative and technical capabilities.
Ben will be involved in overseeing all creative output from The Mill in NY and focus on Mill+ projects nurturing VFX artists, Designers, Editors and Directors working together to craft great work. And Rama will help lead inventive project with clients, directing and making interactive and immersive experiences. He will also help build initiatives like Mill Lab to showcase interdisciplinary innovation across The Mill globally.
