Social@Ogilvy Hong Kong Appoints Samson Choi as General Manager
Social@Ogilvy has appointed Samson Choi as General Manager for Hong Kong. Choi’s role will include expanding on service offerings as well as driving social marketing activities on client accounts.
Choi was formally Director of Integration at Leo Burnett where he developed their digital capabilities and orchestrated the agency’s digital integration with ATL and shopper marketing. During his tenure he leveraged on the famous Nov 11 “Single’s day” phenomenon in mainland China and directed the “National Journey of Love” campaign for Rejoice, which became P&G's largest social-driven campaign to date in China in terms of participations.
Prior to this, he worked at ICLP as the Head of Digital Marketing, helping transform Asia Mile’s relationship with members from traditional online to mobile. Choi is also an accomplished entrepreneur having founded and developed his own dotcom business, PC Gamers, in the United States during the dotcom era before returning to Hong Kong in early 2000.
