An epic call for donations as agency launches inspiring billboard campaign

Rosapark Brings the Battle to Alzheimer’s Disease

Alzheimer’s disease affects 850,000 people in France, with 225,000 new cases every year. At this pace, 1.2M French citizens will have the disease by 2020, and 2.1M by 2040.

The only way to beat this disease is to understand it better. For this reason, the battle is in the hands of the medical researchers who work each day to find a solution.

Since 2004, The Association for Alzheimer’s Research has made big steps towards understanding the disease. The have all the tools they need but one: finances.

To encourage people to donate to this cause, Parisian agency Rosapark has developed a billboard campaign that will launch at the beginning of May.

The idea is to valourise researchers by portraying them as warriors in an epic painting, battling against a mysterious, shape shifting evil – a metaphor for our current understanding of the disease.

The visual integrates photography and 3D design from studio Mécanique Générale, Paris.
