Redscout Opens London Office
Innovation agency Redscout has announced that it will open an office in London to serve its current client roster and increase its global profile. The agency has appointed Jason Cobbold as Managing Director to lead Redscout’s London operations, as it continues to build on its tremendous growth from 2013 and assert itself as the leader in brand-led innovation.
“Our belief has always been that the best way to change a consumer’s perception of a brand is to change the way they experience it,” said Jonah Disend, Founder and CEO of Redscout. “With over half of our business focused on global clients, we felt it was essential to open a London office to serve as a hub for our global work. We have hired the best UK talent in Jason and will be supporting him with top talent from our New York office to export our culture and expertise in innovation."
As Managing Director, Cobbold will build and oversee all of the agency’s operations in London and be an integral part of Redscout’s overall management team, working closely with the agency’s offices in New York and San Francisco. In addition, he will help develop strategy and drive innovation efforts for Redscout’s current clients including PepsiCo and Bacardi Limited. Cobbold will report directly to Disend.
With more than 15 years of experience building global brands, Cobbold is a proven thought-leader and market-disruptor whose work has been recognized for its effectiveness at transforming brands and delivering impactful business results. Previously, Cobbold was Deputy Managing Director of Publicis London, where he was responsible for the turnaround strategy on several key accounts, including the launch of Dacia, which recorded the best ever first-year result for a new car brand in the UK. Prior to that, he served as the Global Business Director at Bartle Bogle Hegarty, where he led the global Johnnie Walker business across all regions and revitalized the brand’s communication efforts for its highly awarded “Keep Walking” campaign.
“Redscout really gets to the heart of what makes brands tick,” said Cobbold. “The team understands the powerful relationship between brand and innovation, and helps make this real. I look forward to launching Redscout in London, and bringing its unique energy and talent to the global market.”
Redscout’s London office will be located in The Tea Building at 56 Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6JJ.
