Partizan Takes Us Behind the Scenes of Tesco's Christmas Light Show

Tesco's Christmas campaign featured a live Event produced by Partizan and director’s Immersive in collaboration with Sonny who produced the TVC directed by Guy Manwaring. 


The creative concept from Wieden & Kennedy revolves around a tweet sent by Claire from Wigan last year which said ‘Why does Tesco in Wigan never have a Christmas hat?’


This year to make sure that Wigan’s Tesco was decorated with a green hat, Immersive, the team behind the LED installations at both the London & Sochi opening & closing ceremonies, were asked to create something extra special. The LED Screens used was a massive 78 metres in length and 7.2 metres high.


The screens were made up of 4 million LED’s each was a pixel. The animation was created by Immersive to the crazily festive track Nutrocker by Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
