Owen Lee Joins Al Young as Creative Head of FCB Inferno
FCB Inferno Chief Creative Office, Al Young, has announced that the agency’s Executive Creative Director, Owen Lee, will now partner with him as creative head.
Having held the title at Inferno independently since 2010, and since Draftfcb and Inferno merged in December 2013, Al’s announcement to share his role of Chief Creative Officer is reflective of the expansion seen at FCB Inferno in the last year. A series of pitch successes including BMW UK, the increased creative output such as the This Girl Can campaign and a swell in staff numbers all contributing to this decision.
Owen Lee and Gary Robinson founded Farm Communications in 1999, and have been joint Executive Creative Directors at Inferno since they moved the business there in 2012. Gary will maintain his title of Executive Creative Director, acting as creative lead for global clients, notably Mondelez and Beiersdorf.
Owen Lee was one of the founding members of St Luke’s and went on to work at HHCL before starting Farm Communications. Al spent the majority of his career at HHCL, followed by three years as Executive Creative Director at FCB, then four as Deputy Executive Creative Director at TBWA.
