Matthew Bagwell Joins Naked Communications as Managing Director

Matthew Bagwell has joined Naked Communications, Europe as Managing Director. His role at Naked will be to oversee the day to day running of the business, whilst continuing to ensure an emphasis on the business effectiveness and ROI of the agency’s Strategic Creative Solutions.

Previously AKQA’s International Director of Strategic Services, Bagwell led a team of Strategists, User Experience Architects, Analysts and Business Transformation Architects across multiple geographies. Prior to AKQA, Matthew led strategic and creative teams at EMC (formerly Conchango) and Syzygy.

Bagwell said, “There is a positive change happening at Naked. The likes of eBay, Virgin Atlantic and Pedigree Tracks are testament to that. We share a vision for the future of the agency and its teams. I'm joining to help turn that vision into reality, building on the great success the agency has enjoyed to date. Every moment I’ve spent with people across Naked has been a real pleasure - I know I'm joining a great team and we are going to have lots of adventures together that make a real difference”.

Christian Gladwell, Naked Communications CEO Europe said; ‘Matt’s experience, sensitivity and nous make him the ideal member of our Management Team and I’m looking forward to having the adventures and making the difference Matt referenced on joining us.”

Matthew joins as Naked Communications opens the door to their new flexible office space, which is a reflection of their philosophy to creating great work. A collaborative project between Naked and Bluebottle Architecture and Design, the environment keeps people and work at its heart and allows the space to be as diverse as the work they engage in.
