Manners McDade Publishes Poppy Ackroyd's Album ‘Feathers’

Poppy Ackroyd has followed up her extremely success debut album ‘Escapement’ (and accompanying DVD ‘Escapement Visualised’) with new album ‘Feathers’, out today.

The album is a sophisticated new work from Poppy for the post-classical genre, with beautiful piano arpeggios and melodies, wonderful clarity and space. A variety of sounds is added through Poppy’s new use of harmonium, clavichord, harpsichord and spinet, in addition to her unique use of violin and piano sounds.

Poppy recently filmed a live session for M Magazine and is touring this Winter, including a concert at Cafe Oto on December 20th.

Poppy is signed to Denovali Records whose roster also includes Floex and Piano Interrupted. Manners McDade publish all of Poppy’s work as well as artists such as Nils Frahm and Moon Ate The Dark.
