Jesse Dillow Joins Camp + King as Creative Director
San Francisco advertising agency Camp + King hired Jesse Dillow as a creative director, Roger Camp, founder and chief creative officer, announced today. Dillow will work closely with creative director Rikesh Lal on all the creative accounts, including Dish Network’s Sling TV, Del Taco, the Hershey Company’s Scharffen Berger and Google.
“Jesse and I worked together when I moved to San Francisco eight years ago, and the day I resigned to begin to lay the groundwork for Camp + King, Jesse also resigned and embarked on his own adventure. I knew he was an amazing talent back then, and it’s been further proven with all he’s accomplished the last few years. I’m excited to be reunited with him and can’t wait to have him make his mark on this agency,” said Camp.
Dillow brings 10 years of Web, film and branded content experience at Leo Burnett, Cole & Weber and other notable shops. His work has won numerous awards, including Cannes Lions, Clios and the One Show Gold Pencil.
Dillow has spoken at SXSW and invented technology for such brands as Hulu. While at Leo Burnett, he created the most successful social media campaign in Super Bowl history: His 2014 #EsuranceSave30 effort received 5.4 million tweets after the hashtag appeared in a TV spot that had been strategically purchased to be the first one after the game.
