Igor Borghi Signs to Generator
Director Igor Borghi has joined Generator’s roster. Igor made waves at the Cannes Lions this year by being shortlisted for his stunning piece Camilla Sognid’oro, which perfectly showcased his fresh and original talent. You can view his reel here.
Hailing from Bologna, Italy, Igor started filmmaking as a teenager. He graduated in International Politics then studied Arts. After a stint at the Italian National Film School in Rome, he went on to AD, serving in what amounted to a directing apprenticeship for some of the country’s leading feature film directors, while also writing and making short films of his own that won several festivals around the world.
In 2010 Igor started directing commercials. During his career so far, he has worked with some of the world's most important agencies including DLV BBDO, TBWA, Auge9, LeoBurnett, McCann Erickson, 1861 United, and STV DDB.
His work has been published on many reviews and industry sites around the world and only recently Shots published an interview with Igor about his creative vision. He also previously won 2nd place at the Cannes Young Director Award.
Generator is happy to welcome Igor and looks forward to collaborating with him on future projects.
