Igor Borghi Shoots Women Gone Wild for Online Style Bible Parisian Gentleman
Online style bible Parisian Gentleman and DLV BBDO Milan have created this witty and beautifully shot piece in a bid to convey the importance of gentlemanly virtues in today’s society. Parisian Gentleman is one of the world’s most respected websites with a focus on men’s style and sartorial excellence. The film was produced by The Family Film.
Recent Generator signing Igor Borghi was given directing duties, and his elegant shooting style and great eye for photography offered a clever and ironic approach to the idea. The result is a film which balances the scenes - deliberately excessive and provocative - with sophisticated visual style and compelling photography.
“We’re very happy to start working with DLV BBDO, because it is an agency that shares our spirit: gentleman outside, punk inside”, explains Hugo Jacomet, the founder and editor of Parisian Gentleman, who divides his time between Milan, Paris, New York and the world’s other capital cities.
The piece was created by copywriter Gennaro Borelli and art director Luca Iannucci, under the creative auspices of Federico Pepe and Stefania Siani, and takes a sideways glance at the subject of gentlemanly elegance and style.
