Hook Studios Branches Out into Quality Assurance with Hook QA
Interactive development company Hook Studios is taking one of its most valuable divisions, quality assurance, out of stealth mode to fill a growing gap in digital agencies’ offerings. The newly created Hook QA provides custom quality assurance solutions for digital advertising and marketing clients.
With digital devices and media platforms proliferating exponentially, the company says marketers are being more strategic about quality assurance, which used to be an afterthought. They seek comprehensive and accountable testing to identify critical issues throughout all scenarios and to ensure a seamless, successful brand experience.
“A few years ago, developers were creating output that was viewed on one or two browsers on a desktop. Today, digital advertising must be functional across nearly 50 platforms and a host of digital devices, from desktops to TVs, tablets and phones,” said Stewart Warner, the company’s director of quality assurance.
“It’s hard for agencies to staff all the disciplines needed to ensure that digital programs run smoothly, and Hook QA provides a full breadth of testing services that have become vital as media options have grown.”
