H+K launches new People + Purpose Practice
Hill+Knowlton Strategies, London (H+K) announces the launch of its People + Purpose practice under the leadership of Laura House.
Laura leads the new People + Purpose practice overseeing employee advocacy, employer brand development and internal publishing strategies for a number of consumer and corporate brands.
Richard Millar, CEO London said, “Consumers no longer trust or want to engage with faceless brands. In the digital age, employees are potentially valuable brand advocates and ambassadors who can humanize brands and offer real life engagement with audiences. Our practice of specialist consultants can help our clients enthuse and empower their employees to generate positive word of mouth.”
The team will also provide strategic internal communications and change management counsel and will replace the current Change + Internal Communications practice that was set up in early 2000.
House commented, “It has never been more important for brands to have a purpose their people understand, both in order to protect their reputation, but also to enable employees to be effective brand ambassadors. H+K’s People + Purpose practice helps brands to develop an internal culture that supports the business direction, enabling them to effectively connect their people with their purpose,”
The team has also expanded under Laura’s leadership with the hire of two specialist consultants, Eloise Hindes and Kitty Gordon.
Eloise joins from AB Communications where she developed communications materials and internal communications strategies for clients including KPMG, Post Office, Veolia and the London Probation Trust. She was chosen as one of the Institute of Internal Communications’ ‘30 under 30’; for 2015. She also co-authored From Cascade to Conversation: Unlocking the collective wisdom of your workforce.
Kitty joins from Which? Consumer’s Association where she provided internal communications guidance to leadership teams and developed multi-channel internal communications strategies. During her time at Which? she also created and led an internal CSR initiative raising over £11,000 for charity in its inaugural year.
