Great Gun Signs Kit Lynch-Robinson
The start of summer sees a new signing for Great Guns, as it welcomes Kit Lynch-Robinson for global representation outside the UK.
Kit joining the Great Guns roster coincides with the first airing of the new Blue Hive Ford campaign, and his recent shoot for Braun HPP shaver with Great Guns UK for AMVBBDO London.
Kit began directing by making virals and releasing them to LimeWire before YouTube existed; he then went on to write and direct ‘The Hedonist Penguin’ promo for the much-lauded Hype Gallery project for Hewlett Packard. The film received huge critical acclaim, won big in Cannes, and went on to take home 34 awards worldwide.
With a love for directing firmly instilled, he went on to win Gold at Cannes Lions with his film ‘Non-Stop Fernando’ for Emirates in 2012. This led to working on a recruitment campaign for the UK Military, and an interactive film for the Royal Marines that wongold at BIMA.
Branching out, Kit shot a sitcom pilot, now in development with a major TV comedy production company. His taste for TV didn’t stop there, and he moved on to direct the last 3 seasons of TopGear, the worlds most watched factual TV show with 350million viewers worldwide. He had an incredibly successful time on TopGear, with his Australia road-trip episode described in the Sunday Times as ‘the best film we’ve ever made’, by Andy Wilman the executive producer.
His experience in TV, commercials, virtual reality and interactive has resulted in a strong and powerful reel. Kit has worked with brands including; Hyundai, RAF, TIC TAC, Ford, Royal Marines, Lamborghini, Mercedes, BMW, Bentley, Nissan, Samsung, Fridge Raiders, IKEA, Skoda, Emirates, Cutty Sark, McDonalds, Peugeot and a video for Jamie Cullum, and has gone on to win awards including Gold Cannes Lions, Gold Lovies, People’s Choice Awards Lovies, Gold Creative Circle, Gold DMA, Gold BIMA, Bronze Cannes Lions and Bronze Clio.
