Felt Music Welcomes Liz Williams as Business Development Manager
Liz Williams joins Felt to head up Business Development from Zodiak Music. Previously, she was responsible for Music Supervision and Music Rights Management for international television production companies within the Zodiak Media group. She has supervised over 20 productions, including new international formats, as well as extending the business to include bespoke composition and exploring new platforms and new users outside of the Zodiak Media companies.
In 2010 Williams launched and managed Synctracks Production Music Library. Her tenacity and business acumen saw the company grow to gain mainstream recognition within the market and obtain major licensing agreements with some of broadcastings biggest names including BBC, Channel 5 and Disney. Her passion for effective music won clients across TV, Advertising, Film, Trailers and Digital content; working with flagship brands Spotify, McDonalds, Android, Kit Kat, Milka, Sprite and Android.
With this specialist mix of skills and industry knowhow, her career has given her unique insights into the media industry; enabling her to work with any type of production and fully deliver . With a background in music that spans production, live & studio recording and artist/brand management, Williams has an unstoppable enthusiasm for all aspects of the industry “It’s helpful to understand the process of music making from the inside. From creating a piece to the arrangement, then down to the final mix before mastering. It allows me to get inside the brief and work alongside composers fluidly.”
