Feed Boosts Senior Team & Strategic Offering with New Hires
Feed, the independent communications agency, has strengthened its strategic offering by hiring Oliver Waterstone as planning director.
Waterstone joins Feed from The Coca-Cola Company where he was creative strategist. In his new role, Waterstone will lead Feed’s strategic resource and will work across all clients, including Ebay. He reports to Matt Lynch, the managing partner.
Waterstone, a former Campaign Face to Watch, has worked as a planning director at JWT and Anomaly and a senior planner at MCBD, where he worked on accounts including Hovis, Waitrose and HMRC. During his time at MCBD he won two IPA Effectiveness Awards for his work on the HMRC business.
Lynch said: “Oli immediately stood out because of his broad experience in above-the-line and below-the-line, coupled with his highly insightful client side knowledge. A rare and exciting combination, that makes him the right strategic leadership to take us to the next level.”
Waterstone added: “I’m thrilled to be helping Feed build up their strategic muscle and continue their fantastic growth into a full service communications agency.”
Feed has also hired Mark Robinson as its new marketing director. Robinson, the former head of marketing at Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and marketing director at agencies including MPG Media Contacts and Grey London, will be responsible for driving the agency’s new business efforts and guiding its growth and transformation. He will report to Rob Armstrong, the founding partner at Feed.
Armstrong said: “Mark brings a fantastic amount of knowledge and a diversity of contacts to a young very fast growing agency, Mark will be instrumental in guiding us though our next stage of development.”
Robinson added: “Feed is one of the most exciting agencies around right now. It is at a crossroads in terms of skillsets and talent. With a new office in Berlin and fast growth in London, it is all there for the taking.”
