Director Zoé Fisher Signs to Generator
Generator is thrilled to welcome acclaimed director Zoé Fisher to its roster.
Zoé's gift for capturing the real essence of children in natural and beautifully observed moments immediately drew the company to her work. Her films give a unique insight into the lives of children, allowing their playfulness and innocence to shine through without ever becoming condescending or contrived.
Zoé's enthusiasm for photography originally developed whilst travelling in Thailand, where her innate sensitivity helped nurture a strong passion for people.
Her use of natural light and thoughtful framing infuses all of Zoé's work; her unique visual style had its beginnings in London where she worked as a photographer for over eight years. During this time she collaborated with a wide range of high profile clients including Elle, Marie-Claire, The Independent, and the Sunday Review.
Zoé made the transition to moving image after returning to Paris and starting a family, where she soon became immersed into the mischievous world of young children. She decided to combine her gift for capturing beautiful imagery with the fresh and very real personalities of the children she works with - shown clearly in her films ‘La fée’, and ‘California’.
Steve O’Leary, Publicis Conseil’s International Creative Director described her work as 'realistic, charming and natural’, and said her ability to draw authentic performances from her young cast was ‘some of the best child acting’ that he had ‘seen in TV commercials for a very long time'.
Zoé's aim is ‘to create inspired and beautiful commercials’; her latest campaign for Milka has been multi-awarded worldwide. She also received much acclaim for her incredibly tender short film 'Iliana'.
She is a fantastic addition to the team and the company warmly welcomes her to Generator Towers. Zoé is represented exclusively in the UK by Generator.
