STW’s Designworks Australia has announced more senior hires, as its branding and design experience business continues to expand.

As a result of new client wins and a period of sustained growth, the agency has appointed Clinton Duncan as creative director and Kate Ryder as client services director in Sydney.

“The addition of Clinton and Kate to our team reflects continued growth across our strategic design and brand experience business which has seen clients engage in transformational branding programmes across their entire business,” explained managing director, Brad Doble.

Both Duncan and Ryder join Designworks from Moon Group, where they led an impressive roll call of branding and design projects, and bring extensive creative and client management know-how to the business.

An award-winning creative leader and brand practitioner, Duncan has transformed brands and created experiences for businesses such as 3M, Google, Westfield, Accor, Vodafone, Ardent Leisure and Macquarie Bank. His cross-disciplinary skills, combine spatial design, workplace branding, advertising, digital and communications, with brand consulting and strategic counsel for leading global brands.

On joining Designworks, Duncan said: “It’s an exciting opportunity to work with the wider Designworks network. Across the group we possess an unrivalled capability. Our clients can benefit from the experience and talent of a big multi-disciplinary team.”

With an international career spanning both agency and client-side roles, Ryder’s strong strategic thinking and project management skills have produced results for blue chip clients including AGL, Big W, CommSec, KPMG, LVMH Moët Hennessy and Westfield, among others.

Ryder said: “I’m joining a talented team of Designworkers with a long history of design innovation.  There is now an opportunity to further grow the business and our service levels to ensure our clients’ brands remain relevant, engaging and market leading.”
