DDB Spain's Clever VW Campaign Urges Big Brands to Keep Their Distance
DDB Spain presents its new outdoor campaign for Volkswagen, which seeks to introduce one of the main technological innovations included in its new vehicles, such as the Golf, Passat and Touareg. It consists of the ACC (adaptive cruise control) system, which keeps you at a safe distance from the car in front.
And that is precisely what this campaign is all about, having identified brands which compete with each other and are too close together to get their own message across. DDB urged them to keep a friendly distance, thereby transmitting how Volkswagen's technology helps its drivers on a daily basis in a surprising way and with a strong and universal cultural insight.
The agency worked in collaboration with the outdoor advertising specialist Clear Channel.
