Creative Duo Matt Collier & Wayne Robinson Join Leo Burnett London
Leo Burnett London today announce that award-winning creative team, Matt Collier and Wayne Robinson will be joining the agency as Creative Directors. Of their appointment, Justin Tindall, ECD Leo Burnett said, “Matt and Wayne have created multi-award winning work in every agency they've worked at. That's what separates the great teams from the good ones. I'm absolutely delighted that they have chosen to join Leo Burnett.”
Collier and Robinson join Leo Burnett from DDB Chicago where they have worked since 2011. Prior to that, the team were at CHI & Partners. They began their careers at JWT London, where they were Campaign Magazine Faces to Watch.
One of the UK’s most highly awarded teams, Collier and Robinson had, at the time of moving to the US in 2011, won over 100 accolades at every major show, including numerous gold and silvers for clients such as Shell, Nestle, 888.com, Toyota, Mazda, Kellogg's, News International, Britvic, Tiger Beer, and Friends of the Earth. Whilst at CHI, the two were widely awarded for their Sunday Times Rich List work, including a D&AD Yellow Pencil, with awards also for Drench (‘Clever Hamsters’ and ‘Mr Memory’) and ‘Homes Within Homes’ for TalkTalk, which also picked up a D&AD pencil.
And their success has continued in the US. During their 3 years at DDB Chicago, they’ve made a Super Bowl commercial for the online car selling site cars.com, a music video for Temptations All Natural Cat Treats, and won over 20 awards, including D&AD, and 5 Cannes Lions for 4 different brands – Skittles, Milky Way, Walls, and the government backed adult education scheme GED.
In addition, they contributed to the growth of the agency’s business, adding several Mars Wrigley brands to the agency’s client list.
