Contagious London Blends Reality for Food Brand Charlie Bigham's

Contagious London has created a new TV ad for Charlie Bigham’s, marking the brand’s first TV outing.  The work, part animation and part food photography, introduces viewers to Hugo and Emily as they enjoy their delicious fish pie for two. The characters were developed by illustrator Simon Spilsbury and the animation by Simon Deshon at The Creative Federation.  

Sally Phillips (Miranda) and Robert Bathurst (Toast of London) lend their unique blend of humour to the voices.  

Paul Weiland, Founder, Executive Creative Director of Contagious London and Director of the work said, “We’ve developed a really charming ad with stand-out style. I’m proud to say that we’ve broken new ground for Bigham’s. They are a fantastic company and we’re delighted to be working with them on their first TV ad.  Here’s to the start of a great campaign.”

Charlie Bigham commented on the new ad “It is fantastic that our food is now available in lots of stores, and what better way to spread the word than to share our story on TV.  We’re really excited to work with such a creative and recognised director, helping even more people to discover our food across the UK."
