Charterhouse Acquires Customer Engagement Agency Indicia
Leading customer engagement agency, Indicia, has been acquired by marketing services company Charterhouse, as the business looks to continue strengthening its marketing services proposition. The acquisition came into effect on the 24th December.
Charterhouse, which operates across 35 markets, was acquired by global giant Konica Minolta in 2012, as part of the businesses’ plans to develop a wider portfolio of services with technology and data underpinning their print, digital and social offerings. This acquisition by Charterhouse will bring Indicia into the Konica Minolta group, which operates globally with over 40,000 employees.
Indicia will offer Charterhouse clients the opportunity to employ the services of market leading experts in customer engagement especially across digital, data and creative. For Indicia, the acquisition, with the backing of Konica Minolta, will provide the 100 strong award winning agency with the backing to invest in and develop its customer engagement proposition for clients on a European and Global scale.

Indicia’s existing management team will remain in charge of leading the business, which will continue operating as Indicia through its current network of offices.
