Burglars Have the Time of Their Lives in Brilliant Dutch Insurance Ad
This week sees the launch of ‘Welcome’, the newest film in the popular ‘Just Call Us’ series, from Dutch insurance company Centraal Beheer Achmea, in which all doors of a modern, high-tech home are literally opened for two burglars.
In the film, created by DDB & Tribal Worldwide, Amsterdam, viewers see a pair of house-robbers not even needing to hunt for the homeowner’s valuables; they are actually presented to them. Meanwhile, the house owner is oblivious to the crime that is taking place while they are away and is shown unveiling a new state-of-the-art gadget at a product presentation – a tongue in cheek reference to the much-hyped Apple and Microsoft launches.
‘Welcome’ is the 57th instalment in the iconic ‘Just Call Us’ series, created by DDB & Tribal, Amsterdam. It is also the first Centraal Beheer Achmea film that the agency has directed and produced in-house, as well as conceived. Joris Kuijpers, Executive Creative Director, DDB & Tribal Worlwide, Amsterdam, says: “An amazing collaboration with the client from the start has enabled us to really make this film the best it can be. We also wanted to give our own team the opportunity to develop their skills in new areas.”
The new campaign, which consists of film, pre-rolls and additional digital advertising, focusses on the Dutch insurer’s brand promise: ‘More is insured than you think’. This means that customers of Centraal Beheer Achmea can not only expect excellent care, but also receive a tailored service by phone when purchasing insurance and are offered surprising and uplifting solutions when they have suffered damages.
