BBDO Atlanta's Chant Generator Is Helping Soccer Fans Make Some Noise
As football teams vie for the MLS Cup, one Atlanta United partner is helping fans make some noise.
Now fans across Atlanta have a new way to cheer on Atlanta’s favourite team: The Chant Generator. This social tool allows fans to create their own game day chants to cheer on the home team, or trash talk whoever Atlanta happens to be playing that day. Users pick from a series of questions and topics to create a custom chant they can share with other fans - either live at a tailgate or in their social feeds.
For too long, fans have been subjected to the same old chants, passed along over and over again, from one team to another, with only the city names changed. But that wasn’t good enough for Atlanta fans. Because Atlanta is a creative town full of original artists, singers and people who love to speak their own mind, and express their fan-hood in their own unique ways.
Fans have already created chants for previous matches against Salt Lake City, Chicago, New England and Toronto. And new chants will be coming for each round of the playoffs as the home squad makes their championship run, starting with Atlanta’s first round match against New York this Sunday, November 11th.
Built by true Atlanta fans at BBDO Atlanta, and powered by local Atlanta sponsor, Old 4th Distillery, the Chant Generator is focused on a championship win for 2018, but already looking ahead to next season.
