ahm Encourages Australians to Dump Their Partners

Provocative new retail campaign out of DDB, Melbourne.

ahm Encourages Australians to Dump Their Partners

This week, ahm health Insurance is launching a campaign entitled, 'How to dump your partner, and why it's good for your health.'

The online campaign references an ingrained consumer behaviour - most people choose a health insurer and then blindly stick with them. As a result Aussies are not getting the best deal. So in this campaign ahm educates consumers about how to get out of these 'relationships'.

Says Peita Golden, head of marketing and communications at ahm: "ahm is focussed on making sure as many Australians as possible have access to great value health insurance. So if you feel like you're being taken for granted by your current health insurance partner, it might be time to dump them. And for once it's OK to do it online."

Says Dion Appel, managing director, DDB Melbourne: "No-one likes a toxic relationship. Especially one that costs you money. Hopefully this campaign is a funny, educational way to encourage people to change their health insurance behaviour."

The first instalment of the campaign launches online, with more 'How to dump' content to follow on social media.
