New 'Social Centerpiece' lets fans connect with celebrities via Twitter and Vine during the live event

360i Gives Fans a Seat Among the Stars for A&E Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

The A&E Critics’ Choice Movie Awards is giving fans a seat among the stars on January 15 by debuting the Social Centerpiece, a technology innovation executed in partnership with agency 360i and powered by Twitter, that lets fans connect with celebrities via Twitter and Vine during the live event using #CriticsChoice. 

Stars will use the Social Centerpiece on each table at the show to share real-time updates, snap selfies, respond to fans, and engage with critics and other celebs throughout the night. Host Michael Strahan will encourage social chatter by calling out fan tweets, issuing social challenges and inviting the at-home audience to present superlatives to the stars. You can follow the action at @CriticsChoice and @AETV to see what table wins “Best Celeb Picture of the Night” as voted by the fans. Other campaign elements include humorous video teasers featuring Strahan called “Mingling with Movie Stars”
