D&AD Leadership Series : The Internet of Things

D&AD Leadership Series : The Internet of Things

Organised by D&AD

Date Feb. 16, 2016 6:30 p.m. to Feb. 16, 2016 8:30 p.m.

London, UK

We have all heard about the Internet of Things, but what does it really mean?

Research by Gartner Inc. (technology and research advisory corporation), tells us that there will be nearly 26 billion devices on the Internet of Things by 2020 – quite a feat considering that it was only 1989 when the first Internet connected toaster was unveiled.

In this Leadership Series session, Alex Lampe (digital designer and director of A+B Studio and our resident trainer of D&AD’s Art Direction for Digital), shares his insights into the human, emotional drivers behind the technology and how we might approach designing experiences around it.

Space is extremely limited, so get your tickets now to avoid disappointment.

Time: 6.30pm for arrival drinks, 7.00–8.00pm presentation with Q&A.

Cost: £15+VAT Non members / Free to D&AD Members
