One of the UK’s leading content marketing businesses is growing their client relations team with an exciting role opening for a competitive and passionate Business Development Executive.

Based in their London office, you will drive the expansion of the company within different industries in the UK and abroad through selling solutions that help make content marketing simple.

Trading since 1998, this established content marketing agency employs dedicated experts within their creative, technical and account management teams. Working with some of the world’s most prestigious brands and with offices in Leeds, Manchester and a head office in London they are able to provide a wealth of services from content marketing strategy, creation and implementation of content, data analysis, social media management and even their own internally built content development system.

Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will join as the Business Development Executive splitting your time between meeting high level executives onsite and in the London based office. You will act as the face of our client, leading commercial negotiations, pitching to decision makers and developing strong content marketing plans. Working closely with their marketing department and a telesales team to follow-up inbound and outbound leads, you will generate new business relationships utilising your expert sales skills to convert them into revenue.

To qualify... We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Executive / New Business Executive / Sales Exec or similar who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in the B2B sales sector;
  • The ability to develop and manage a prospect pipeline and generate revenue;
  • Experience identifying new business opportunities and generating meetings;
  • An understanding of different business models and organisation objectives;
  • Experience creating insightful and inspiring presentations;
  • Great communication skills with the ability to handle objections and negotiate;
  • An understanding of social and face-to-face networking;
  • The ability to learn quickly and a deep interest in digital, inbound marketing and technology;
  • A self-motivating and competitive mentality.

Any experience selling digital marketing solutions would be an advantage.
