We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Associate Editor / Web Editor / Online Editor (with a keen interest in mountain biking) to join one of Europe’s biggest action sports websites.

Founded by one of Europe's largest action sports media owners the website focuses on telling the most exciting stories from the world of action sports in the most compelling way possible. They feature the best videos, photos, interviews, commentary and event coverage from 14 sports - including mountain biking, snowboarding, BMX, skiing, surfing and skateboarding. Having undergone a re-launch in early 2014, their award-winning team is currently expanding.

Joining as their Associate Editor / Web Editor / Online Editor you will research, produce and manage a host of in depth and deeply interesting cycling / motocross stories.  On a day-to-day basis expect to be involved with updating website content with dynamic, high quality work. This means:  increasing organic and referral traffic; increasing the number of social shares; brainstorming ways to increase user engagement; networking with professional riders; optimising content; attending events; delivering video content and much more.  In short, it will be your input that makes this action sports magazine the leading website in its field.

To qualify... This role is ideally suited to a Web Editor / Online Editor / Associate Editor / Content Manager or similar with a keen interest in mountain biking and a CV that can demonstrate:

  • Experience in online journalism.
  • A passion for cycling and bike-based sports, especially mountain-biking.
  • Proven knowledge of social media and SEO.
  • A track record of working on a growing site.
